specialty nurse license plate

OVER THE TOP & NOW IN PRODUCTION!

The Tennessee Nurses Foundation expresses its sincere appreciation to all of you who ordered the specialty nurse license plate and helped TNF make it a reality!
The State of Tennessee has started production, and the Nurses Change Lives plate should be available for pickup or purchase by the end of September or the first of October from your local County Court Clerk's Office.
One-half of the proceeds from the sale of the Nurses Change Lives license plate will go to the Tennessee Nurses Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, to help support its programs. Click here for information on the Tennessee Nurses Foundation, its programs and activities.
Information for those who pre-ordered the plate from TNF
Once the nurse license plates are produced, you will receive a letter from the Department
of Revenue, Vehicles Services,
indicating you are
to go to your local county clerk's office and pick
up the license plate you purchased. If you have already
renewed your vehicle registration for the year, you
will only need to pay the state’s registration fee
for the
unused portion for your new vehicle registration. Your new
expiration date will be
changed to a year from the date you
picked up your new license plate.
For instance, if your current vehicle registration renewal is July every year, your new renewed tag will have July 2011 on it. If you were to pick up the new license plate in January 2011, (six-months before your current tag runs out), you will only need to pay the regular state fee for your vehicle’s registration from July 2011 to January 2012 and your new vehicle registration renewal month will be in January and it will not be due again until January 2012.
