Project Serve is a week of service dedicated to meeting the needs of others. During the week of April 21-30, 2017, nurses across Tennessee selected a service project to be the hands and feet of love and hope to those in our communities and surrounding areas.

District 1 members participated in Project Serve on Thursday, April 27th, at the Memphis Union Mission. District 1 members helped serve dinner to about 200 homeless men in the Memphis area.
District 2 participated in Project Serve on Saturday, April 22. District 2 assisted with clean-up efforts that resulted from the November 28th Gatlinburg wildfires.
In District 3, the Austin Peay State University School of Nursing members of the Student Nurses Association participated in Project Serve on Wednesday, April 26 planting flowers with APSU’s University Child Care Center.
District 5 partnered with Good Samaritan Ministries located in Johnson City, TN for Project Serve. District 5 helped provide items for Easter Baskets that were packaged and delivered to children in need throughout the community. Over the course of two days, volunteers spent a total of 24 hours giving back.
On April 22nd members of District 6 volunteered to help with the March of Dimes event held at the Grant Center at Union University in Jackson, TN for Project Serve.
