Nursing Economics: Exploding the Myths

If you were not at TNA’s 2001 annual convention, you missed the best one yet! The sessions and speakers were superb and timely. The presentations by nursing leaders, administrators, practitioners, and educators on topics critical to nursing’s agenda were excellent. Among these were Where Have All the Nurses Gone? (a forum on the nursing shortage), Leadership and Activism: Representing the Nursing Profession in Your Community, and a dynamic keynote presentation, ANA and You, by Linda Stierle, Executive Director and CEO of the American Nurses Association.
In addition, the TNA House of Delegates elected a new secretary of the Board, three members of the Nominating Committee, and an enthusiastic delegation to send to Philadelphia in 2002.
Congratulations to these new TNA leaders.
For those of you who were unable to attend the convention, TNA’s staff has created a virtual convention. Use the links to the left to access a photo gallery, House of Delegates resolutions, award winners, press releases, and much more!
