Are You Available to Volunteer at Open Enrollment Events in Your Community?
Organizers of enrollment events seek help with a special enrollment need: counseling people who show up at the event only to find out that they do not qualify for premium discounts and will likely fall into the Coverage Gap.
We have developed tools to support people in the Gap. We need compassionate volunteers to deliver the tools to those in need. If you are available, we will provide training for you, and help you locate events in your community where you can serve. The next Open Enrollment for the health insurance marketplace begins November 15 and continues through February 15.
Go to www. Getcoveredtenn.org and indicate your interest under the “Want to help us?” tab. Select your region, and check the box “Help with Medicaid Expansion/Counseling about the Gap”. Someone will be in touch with you about next steps.
